But, the truth is, we can not blame the government for everything, since our lifestyles seem to demand foods that are not refrigerated, on-the-go breakfast sausage and egg sandwiches, protein bars and bean burritos, foods with amazing ‘out-of-this-world’ flavors, pre-packaged and frozen TV dinners, and chewing gum that bursts in our mouths! “The Allergy Lady Says…..The real question is, “Are many of our unexplained symptoms caused by eating food chemicals?” My answer to this question is a resounding YES! Now, please understand that everyone has their own way to express their allergies, and it is usually a collection of symptoms we have seen periodically. We are all different. Familiar to me personally are symptoms like clearing my throat, acid reflux, burping, belching, different degrees of diarrhea, cramping, back pain, fibromyalgia pain, brain fog, fatigue, bloating, and gas.   1. I have an allergy to something, but no doctor has been able to figure out to what. All allergy tests come back negative. I have had nasal polyps & had them removed, they started to come back. I am on Singulair/Flonase, which works fantastic. I know I am allergic to alcohol, yes beverages. Doctors just tell me not to drink. Yeh OK.Ok, but this is the strange thing. When I go away on vacation (islands,Italy) no allergies, not even to alcohol. I regain my sense of smell,taste?????

Initially, most doctors use scratch tests to do allergy testing, and they have been found to be limited in their ability to identify all the allergies someone may have systemically. I would try a blood test instead. Secondly, we all have a tendency to see only “ONE” thing as the reason for our symptoms, which I find is more of a collection of reactions to multiple things (allergens) causing the symptoms. Thirdly, when you left your home to go to Europe, the symptoms disappeared tells me it is connected to your environment (seasonal allergies or something you are inhaling) and/or something you are consuming at home.
